FEATURE REQUEST: Transparent maps?
First I'd like to say this is a great piece of software, even better that its free.

But I'm wondering for maybe future updates that a feature similar to this site could be included so that two or more maps could be shown on the screen with a certain transparency?

Well its handy when planning routes to have for example the hiking or cycling map overlayed on satelite imagery.

Also some maps havee different details. which it would save changing from one to the other.

You could try the OSM layer for Google Earth by Markus Bader:

http://www.markus-bader.de/?p=38

My workflow is to 1st draw the track in RC on a Mapnik card (because both hikebike and cylce map updates are lagged by several weeks sometimes, showing older content), then save the track as KML file and do the final work in Google Earth based on the satellite layer and Panoramio user photos (to not miss great places).

If RC would have an option to overlay GE layer + OSM layer, plus show the Panoramio photos on top of it optionally, yes, *that* would be great :-)
