Hello, and time issue

Hi,
I just discovered RouteConverter and like it. I live in France and try to geolocalize all the pictures I have in my library.
I downloaded the Mac OS X version and I noticed a weird behaviour. I'm using RC to build a route according to my pictures. But when I want to add interpolate waypoints, date and time go crazy (see picture). What can I do ? Is there a way to prevent from this behaviour? Or is it possible to change date and time for every waypoints afterwards ?

Thank you for you report, that's indeed strange. Please send me an example and explain me how to reproduce the behaviour you're observing. The RouteConverter.log is helpful, too.

I guess, you cannot prevent this. You could double click into the position list and change the date and times manually, but that's really annoying :-(

Well, I tried several time and always obtained the same result.
What I do is:
1) I create a gpx file with GPSbabel from embedded EXIF GPS data (I tried with 3 pics)
2)I open the gpx file with route converter and obtain 3 waypoints, what is, indeed, not enough to have the complete route. Then I add interpolate points (between the pictures) and at this very moment, new points are displayed but their date and time keep changing for a while, with crazy date like 1924 ! But this behavior is inconstant. Sometimes, all points are listed with the same date and time, but sometimes, dates are in the future!
And dates keep changing for a while after I run the Insert Points command.

I guess, you cannot prevent this. You could double click into the position list and change the date and times manually, but that's really annoying :-(

In fact, I found a pretty complicated way of doing what I want: I export my route in csv format, open it with excel, use excel's skill to batch all dates, convert it to gpx with GPSbabel and import in my tracks and routes application. And it does work, even if it's a lot of clicks ;-)

Hi,
Where can I find the routeconverter.log file ?
Here are two attached files: the first one (20100915.gpx) is the saved file of what I sent to you earlier; the second one (RC_Demo2.gpx) is the same as the original file I imported before adding intermediate waypoints. But I tried again tonight, and each time the phenomenon was different (sometimes with altitude, sometimes with future date or time...)

The FAQ says that the file is hidden and stored somewhere below the /tmp folder.

Maybe something in the console like

find /tmp -name RouteConverter.log

helps to find it?

Thank you, unfortunately I only get the current time for all inserted waypoints.
