I have asked Christian to make the Time field sortable based on date and time, so that when several GPX files are loaded covering one 'trip' they can be put into Date/Time order and merged more easily. I know it is something we have both agreed will be added in the future... when remains the unknown.

I would also like to be able to copy a specific record/point/position and then inject, often in a specific location where I will edit the time for that position but keep the latitude and longitude, so that it is between the files I loaded and covers a photograph that was taken while on the trip but in between the GPS actually recording locations. After all, sometimes the signal is lost as I walk with the unit in my pocket and I need to add the physical location for a photo into the file so that it will geocode the photo correctly.

Otherwise I use wordpad to create the individual positions I need with their time as per the photo and THEN I still need that sort by Data and Time feature to get the full track back into one file.

Hi Robert,

that is already possible: Have a look at the "New Position" between Position 25 and 26 - it's time is the average between the two other positions:

And if you double click into the time column, you can adjust the time to your needs.
