Here is the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/0jn58o2ywn25fth/RouteConverter.log I look forward to hearing from you RE: COULD NOT INITILAZE THE MAP - routeconverter - 26.06.2013 (26.06.2013, 15:20)doublecheese Wrote: I look forward to hearing from you Hi, at a first glance there is just this message which does help... Code: Jun 24, 2013 4:32:15 PM slash.navigation.converter.gui.mapview.EclipseSWTMapView createWebBrowser
SEVERE: Cannot create WebBrowser: Native Interface is not initializedBut then I saw this Quote:Jun 24, 2013 4:39:39 PM slash.navigation.catalog.remote.RemoteCatalog fetchGpx RouteConverter cannot access the RouteCatalog service since something - I guess your firewall - is blocking any attempt to create a socket. I guess the map component suffers from the same problem. So you need to allow RouteConverter.exe to embed the IE and allow IEexplorer.exe to access Google Maps. That highly depends on the personal firewall and/or security solution that you use. Most ask upon first access and all provide a configuration option to whitelist applications. Which personal firewall and/or security solution are you using? Hi I am using Norton 360 with standard settings . I have checked the Firewall settings also , Routeconverterwindows.exe and Routeconverterwindows64.exe are ALLOWED When I goto details of these two settings, all communication is allowed I don't know what else to do, I am getting crazy !!

Most RouteConverter problems can be traced down to problems with them. You could use another program or put RouteConverter into a VM
