Waypoint Display without a Link ? - tibrebour - 13.04.2008 Hi, I just tried your program RouteConverter and its really great and easy to use. Thanks ! ![]() Just one basic question. I would like to display in a map (left window) different point of interest for me but without the link between them. Can i do it in Route Converter ? I have tried with different waypoint format and different options within RouteConverter but there is always a link between them. Thanks a lot, Thibaud RE: Waypoint Display without a Link ? - routeconverter - 13.04.2008 Hi Thibaud, actually this is currently not possible. But I'm working on it... I'd like to have the current view for tracks, a Directions based view for routes and a Marker based view for waypoints/points of interest. Just like the examples from Google show it: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/index.html Is that, what you're searching? RE: Waypoint Display without a Link ? - tibrebour - 13.04.2008 Hi Christian, Thanks for asking! Here is my (personal) opinion : The current view for tracks, a Directions based view for routes in your example are just great ! However, I find the following marker ... somehow, pretty big: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/marker-simple.html I tend to prefer the Google Earth style marker better as they don't take so much space and integrate quite good in places where the number of points may be higher (city, island, coast, ...). Here is an example: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=http:%2F%2Fwww.navpixmaps.com/london/kmzfiles/nightlife/NavPix-Pictures-of-Pubs-and-Bars-in-City-London.kmz bests, Thibaud RE: Waypoint Display without a Link ? - routeconverter - 13.04.2008 tibrebour Wrote:I tend to prefer the Google Earth style marker better as they don't take so much space and integrate good within a city. Hi Thibaud, that's a good hint. I'll try to implement it like that. |
