source in english - limelect - 22.04.2011 Can i have source in English since IntelliJ IDEA Editor dose not recognize some fonts OR which file Encoding>Ide Encoding is used? thank you RE: source in english - routeconverter - 24.04.2011 (22.04.2011, 09:48)limelect Wrote: Can i have source in English You can find the source code on github and some more information here (22.04.2011, 09:48)limelect Wrote: since IntelliJ IDEA Editor dose not recognize some fonts I'm mostly developing under Windows, so the setting is system default under Windows and Windows-1252 under Linux. RE: source in english - limelect - 24.04.2011 Thanks default under Windows did not work since the German font get ? Only Windows-1252 for window xp This is how i compiled RE: source in english - routeconverter - 24.04.2011 (24.04.2011, 15:10)limelect Wrote: Thanks There are German umlauts in test classes, JavaDoc and properties-Files. I've tried to eliminate some of them with https://github.com/cpesch/RouteConverter/commit/56a739dff6c7a3203f99e8ea07b0068ed7bb7d37 Did you manage to compile RouteConverter on your machine? RE: source in english - limelect - 25.04.2011 Yes i did compile and run However with Windows-1252. My laptop (where i compiled) has German as third language So i do not know what will happen on "Regular" (no German) machine will it copile? I wander. P.S i wrote quiet a few such programs but to Delphi this is why i was interested in your program. What i miss is a good Delphi program to down load from my Garmin Etrex Usb. Do you happen to have such a program or flow chart? I know to you it is useless but i loaded my KML READER The parsing is not perfect and google map is not in.. but it was done back a few years to see if i understood kml.Sorry it is in Hebrew. www.limelect.com Tanks shlomo (24.04.2011, 16:53)routeconverter Wrote:(24.04.2011, 15:10)limelect Wrote: Thanks RE: source in english - routeconverter - 26.04.2011 (25.04.2011, 09:40)limelect Wrote: Yes i did compile and run This setting affects the mapping of bytes outside the virtual machine into Unicode used inside the virtual machine. AFAIK all Java VMs know Windows-1252 (it's mostly identical to ISO-8859-15). There is no support for the operating system needed. But they wouldn't help me either since I cannot read them. Btw, what was the reason you wanted to compile RouteConverter on your own? Would you like to translate it to Hebrew? RE: source in english - limelect - 26.04.2011 Well i really have not decided yet what to do Since i am a professional electronic engineer working with Delphi i was interested in the source. To the answer if you could add the language mechanizem to the program ,you know like a text file holding the messages, then it might be easier on the community to translat the program to each language. Did you ever considered it? Like we do with Delphi or any window program using languages. There are quiet a few tools for that kind of programs free on the internet. But i do not know for java i guess there are free packages. It has to be transformed to ascii from the native encoding which is done during 'mvn package'. This is most likely as well necessary for Hebrew. All these property files are copied into the application JAR and the user's locale selects one of them, falling back to English if it doesn't exist. So all you need to do, is translate one or two entries, copy the file to /slash/navigation/converter/gui/RouteConverter_he.properties into a RouteConverterPrerelease.jar and see, what happens.
