Autofocus very annoying on start
#1
Hi,

I use RouteConverter on Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon with openjdk 11.0.19 2023-04-18.
Version 2.34-SNAPSHOT-359.

When I start the program, it tries to download some resources from the web.

There are a lot of errors on these downloads, but it's not the problem here. For each good or bad  download, a message box is displayed in the bottom right corner of the window and each time the message appears, RouteConverter takes the focus above all other active programs : its window comes in foreground systematically. Even if RouteConverter window is minimized.

When this loading step is finished, there's no more problem.

Could you correct this very annoying bug ?

Thanks

For me, that is the problem. And I'm working on fixing the hosting problems.

In Java I'm defining a Window and setting it to visible. This it what it needs.

On Windows and MacOS I don't see the effect that you've described. I think it has to do with the JVM <-> Your Window Manager on Mint integration. No clue, how to fix this.

Maybe you you have a look at the NotificationManager class and try to get rid of the annoying effect?
