[2.34} Suggestions
#1
Hello,

I just tried RC as a possible alternative to deadware Windows application GPS Track Editor.

As a new user, I might have missed some features, but FWIW here are some suggestions:

1. Add link to download JRE (Which one? Oracle, etc.)

2. Like GPS Track Editor, make it possible to slice/merge/join tracks. That's what I use it for.

3. File > Recent Files

4. In Elevation window, hovering mouse above track should display location in elevation section below

5. View > Maps: Add Search button to find (with filter)

6. View > Show Map Overlays: Nothing happens when selecting items

7. Rename "Position list" with "Track"

Cheers,

Hi Vincent,

doesn't it show up when double-clicking the .exe?

Didn't you find Positionlist/Split and Merge...?

It's called File / Reopen....

When you click on the elevation, it's selected. Hovering shows the elevation at the mouse position.

Would you want to search in the maps to download?

I know there are problems. Did that overlay show up when zooming or moving the map?

What exactly does that mean? Please explain.
