map display error - anders86755 - 26.10.2022 contact[[user:The Dj]] if you want to maintain OSMdb and/or the wmflabs...... ![]() I have upgrade to version: 2.32 , but still display the above error. But in the VMWare virtual machine , It run normally. So I think it maybe map cache problem? But how to clean the cache ? I can not find solutions. No, as you can read in the tiles, the tile server is not maintained anymore. And so far nobody is stepping in, so the map is useless in RouteConverter. A computer with an older version of software installed and running two years ago. The problem appeared in at the time and it has persisted ever since. I installed the latest software yesterday and the problem persists. The other computer was a new virtual machine I built, with a clean OS. Then I copied the software into it and ran it. The software runs fine in this virtual machine without errors. All kinds of maps can be displayed normally. Below are screenshots of the software running on different computers. thank you for your reply. This is a very good software. by the way, Can you add a proxy function to the software? just like dopbox. I think it's very useful. Because there are still some very unfree countries in the world...... RE: map display error - routeconverter - 27.10.2022 (27.10.2022, 00:01)anders86755 Wrote: I tested on two computers. If not, please file an error report with all the details of your proxy setup. Even I deleted "$HOME/.routeconverter" completely. I also deleted the relevant content in the registry. But as soon as the program starts, no matter which map is selected, this error still occurs. I created a new account on this computer's operating system (win10), then logged into the new account and run the software, and everything worked fine. It's so weird. I found that even though I deleted those directories and cleared the registry, the settings I had saved in "options" were still there when the program started. So there should be some other directories I haven't cleared out? RE: map display error - anders86755 - 28.10.2022 By the way, I have installed "TimeAlbum" that you developed. The map is displayed normally. It's so weird. Indeed – it's weird and should not happen. > I found that even though I deleted those directories and cleared the registry, the settings I had saved in "options" were still there when the program started. So there should be some other directories I haven't cleared out? No, these are the two places where RouteConverter stores data. TimeAlbumPro uses a Google Maps-based map. So that's an indication that something is wrong with the mapsforge-based map caching or metadata for that one user on your machine. My data is displayed normally on this software. But it only displayed normally on zoom 1 to 12 and 19. It displayed error on zoom 13 to 18. RouteConvert and GpsPrune happen to be based on java development.
