Regarding version 2.4, I triad it today and it seems to work fine.

Hi Jose,

with the latest prerelease I've updated the Eclipse SWT library to version 3.7.1 and the DJNative Swing library to 1.0.2-2011120. Maybe this makes RouteConverter work on your Mac?

Hi there,

I am using Routeconverter 2.6 on May OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) via Webstart.

JVM ordering is: 1. Java 6 64-bit, 2. Java 6 32-bit

It shows the same error in the left panel: "Konnte Webbrowser nicht starten" (see screenshot)

Thanks for your help,
Torben

Hi Torben,

please try both variants of RouteConverter: 32 and 64 bit. One of them should work.

Hi,

I'm struggling to find a selection for 32/64 bit on http://routeconverter.com/webstart/de

Cheers,
Torben

For Webstart there is no plattform selection since that is/should be automated by the Webstart Definition. Unfortunately, it seems that that doesn't work.

Please try the downloads instead.

Hello, I have big problems using routeconverter on my Mac Pro Lion v 1.7.3.
I think it has to do with JAVA-problems !
What can I do ?
For example : when move a waypoint, the program is not recalculating a new route.
Add a waypoint causes also problem.
Thanks

Your symptom occurs with present 'release' version 2.6, right?

Christian put several bugfixes into the prerelease version.
What about this? Same symptom or already fixed in the prerelease?

I have the same issue as MacRider on OS X 10.6.8. The latest prerelease of the 64* bit Mac version still has map issues, and it has shown these issues for quite a while. The map is unresponsive, and the route doesn't get updated. The only way I can use the map is by hiding and reopening it whenever it freezes.

The only way I can use the program on my Mac without losing my sanity is by running it on a remote Linux or Windows computer and display it on my Mac (using resp. X11 or RDP)... Not ideal, to say the least. I understand these kind of issues are hard to debug, but a fix would be more than welcome.

Kind regards,
Edwin

* Or the 32 bit version. Haven't tried the latter in a while, though.

Hi intosi,

I've just uploaded a prerelease version with another bug fix. Please test and report if it fixes your problems.

After making a route tonight, it seems that release 2.7 works properly. Thank you very much!

Edwin
