"Ripple"-delete for waypoints (ie, changing timing of following waypoints)?
#1
I recently edited a course from my Garmin. I rode my bike to another city, rode around in that city, and then rode back.

I used RouteConverter to delete all of the points when I was riding around in the city, so that I had a route wherein I rode to the city and then back.

But, by looking at the time-stamps on the waypoints, it seems that RouteConverter has left the time-stamps alone, so it looks like I just sat at the turn-around point for an hour.

What I'd like is a way to do, say, a "ripple delete" like you can with a video editor. In video editing, if you just delete a snippet of video from the timeline, it just leaves a hole where you deleted the video. If, however, you do "ripple delete", it moves everything after the deleted portion forward to fill the hole.

Is there a way to tell RouteConverter to delete a bunch of points and to update the time-stamps on the points so that there's not a huge time-gap between the points which surrounded the deleted portion? Or, if you can't do that, can you, at least, tell RouteConverter to adjust the time between two points and have that time-adjustment be made to all of the points after it, as well?

No

No

But RouteConverter is open source: you can hack the functionality into it
