Hi Christian,

I've already used the 2.7 release and the latest prerelease. The OS is continuosly updated. The only thing I've done probably is I've installed Chrome but it isnt my default browser, anyway I've tried to uninstall it.

Hi guallini,

for RouteConverter it doesn't matter whether Chrome is installed or not. It's the better browser though ;-)

Did you check this FAQ?

I've verified the entire FAQ but it don't help me mainly because in my case I can see the map but I can't see the track. I immagine you use a system like openlayers viewed using IE embedded in the application. But I can't understand why the gpx file Isnt viewed in my case.

Can you send me a screenshot and the file you were using? Just zip it if you're uploading to the forum.

For sure!!

In attached "Screenshots.zip" I've opened the "20120617.gpx" and his screenshot is "20120617.gpx.png". In addition I've opened an already loaded track from "4x4 Tracks" and the screenshot is "4x4 tracks.png".

I'm sorry but I don't have a clue what's going wrong on your machine. It has very likely something to do with Windows XP and IE 8 and/or Google who isn't testing/supporting old OS/browser combos that thoroughly anymor. There have been issues with Google Maps API 3.7 which I was able to fix when I had one last machine running XP but that died last year. And now Google Maps API 3.9 is the current stable release

Christian,

I've found a solution Smile

I saw that the route don't appears on IE and Google Map as well (See attached zip file).

THIS IS THE SOLUTION for IE:

it's because VML has been disabled due to a security loophole. To re enable it
Start
Run
regsvr32 "%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\VGX\vgx.dll"
restart Internet Explorer

That is good news!

That is a good indicator, I'll ask the other users with problems to try your solution.

Is there any way to undo the regsvr32 "%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\VGX\vgx.dll" operation?
