Often GPS tracks are consistently many meters off their true locations. So a portion of the track is not as accurate as it could be.
I suggest an option to be able to select a range of points on the track (ideally by selecting them on the map) and then use keyboard arrows or on-screen arrows to move that section of track by 0.5m in the direction indicated. If screen arrows are provided, having ones on the diagonal would be helpful too.

Hi chis,
nice idea. Have you've tried to select a range of points with "Turn on select mode" then move them with the mouse? Not exactly what you suggested, but it comes close.

I can't see how to "turn on select mode"
I have selected multiple points using the point list and keyboard commands then moved that with mouse, but the visual feedback seemed very imprecise.

Hi chis,
two small buttons are below the zoom slider. One of them is the 'Turn on select mode' button.
Click the 'Turn on select mode' button, put the curser to the map, press left mouse button (LMB) and draw a rectangle while keeping LMB pressed. Release LMB and all points inside the rectangle are selected in the position list.
Now 'grab' one of the selected points and move it - all selected points will be moved.

Great, thanks.
I was able to select visually, which is much faster.
My issue with accurately moving lines is that the big point markers often obscure where I'm trying to move to. As I'm trying to make very accurate tracks for maps, I have new points every second or so. This means a big pile of points are shown.
Any way to turn off the icon used to display points? Or maybe make the icon small, so it obscures less of the image
