System.getProperty("user.home") + "/Library/Preferences/" + "com.example.your.Application"
Übersetzt auf RouteConverter müßte die XML-Datei also
~/Library/Preferences/slash.navigation.converter.gui.panels
heißen oder
~/Library/Preferences/slash.navigation.converter.gui.panels.ConvertPanel
