It's that lengthy

geocode=FW9TEQMdfT_4_w%3BFXOjCwMdxPcPAA%3BFXp0CQMdflwcAClj4_HXdT_cRzH0edKM4Nm-rA%3BFYY2CwMdUA8pACn3x19f2L3cRzEfkrGPvN7apQ%3BFfeRCgMdIXgsACkJMY9q8bbcRzEOl0D4Y4VzJg%3BFboJCgMdz6E0AA%3BFR53CAMdLYI5ACmLChLiNArDRzG8P7m

parameter.

That's what I guessed. I also assume therefore that there's no way anyone else can decode that.

It's been a nightmare having to export each map to KML as Google Maps screws up more than half the time. Dropping waypoints, shuffling them, or simply not saving anything to the file at all. And that’s not mentioning the odd behaviour of how you HAVE to create a new ‘map’ in the same window as you then load and save the actual map to that just created ‘map’. Otherwise, it’s just not listed and available to use.

It even sounds confusing. Really, how hard can it be. They have a list of waypoints and can easily obtain the co-ordinates for each and simply save them into an XML file. It's not rocket science. How can they have so comprehensively totally f*****d it up. It beggars belief it really does.

It would be unacceptable from a schoolboy, let alone one of the world’s largest and richest corporations (bizarrely).

Thanks for your help and for RouteConverter, the only part of the process that actually worked.
