Unable to convert to Garmin flightplan- feature not available
#1
Thanks very much for providing this tool and for making it open source.  Very much appreciated.   Smile

I'm trying to use it (for the first time) - I am trying to create Garmin flightplans.  I can enter positions into a position list, but when I try to export (Positionlist>Export to file)  or save As (Garmin Flightplan *.fpl), I get a popup message saying 'The Feature 'Write Garmin Flightplan" is not available."  I have Online edition 2.17 from 09 Nov 2015 which I just got from the website.

I am running under linux (mint) with gpsbabel from the distribution repository (V1.4.3). In case this is a gpsbabel error, I tried routeconverter options both with path to external GPSBabel blank and also with it pointing to /usr/bin/gpsbabel - restarting routeconverter after changing the setting.  Both gave the same error message.

Any ideas welcome.

On another note, which file should I be running to launch Routeconverter.  I've been running the .jnlp file but that seems to try to re-download and install every time, so that may not be correct.   I don't have a desktop icon or entry in the start menu.
