Hike symbols...gone??
#2
Hallo Jan,

I can configure the list of maps centrally since I don't want to release a new RouteConverter version just to change it.

Since I'm expecting that Google's API Keys with their mandatory credit card registering will mean the end of the usage of the Online Edition, I'm trying to bring the online maps to the Offline Edition. For this I had to refactor a lot of code and I've removed the maps that won't work in the Offline Edition.

You can configure your own maps as described here:
https://forum.routeconverter.com/thread-2096.html

The following XML fragment brings back the Hike Symbols to the 2.23.x releases:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
<catalog xmlns="http://api.routeconverter.com/v1/schemas/tileserver-catalog">
<tileServer id="Hike Symbols" name="HikeBikeMap with Symbols rendering of OpenStreetMap data" minZoom="1" maxZoom="18" copyright="OpenStreetMap">
"http://" + getOpenStreetMapServerIndex() + ".tiles.wmflabs.org/hikebike/" + zoom + "/" + coordinates.x + "/" + coordinates.y + ".png"
</tileServer>
</catalog>
