I have now thanks to you a better understanding of the complexity of working with different variation of .gpx file.
I also understand the need to keep to tool simple to use for people with limited technical knowlege. I probably wouldn't be able to contribute in a meaningful way to Route Planner, as I'm not a programmer (although I have a limited interest for programming), but a librarian and a archivist.
I still like the fact that I can view or modify my OsmAnd's .gpx in Route Converter without corrupting them (as far as I know). That's already something that allow less experience used build up confidence.
Thank you again for your time, both to answer my questions and for your work on Route Converter. I'll make sure to follow closely its development.
