Issue: speed tag is m/s

Now I am using software where the company exports to GPX and exports the speed incorrectly as km/h so when I load it into RouteConverter the speeds are showing as impossible values, due to the difference between m/s and km/h.... Treat km/h as if it is m/s and the speed shown is well in excess of the speed limit <grin>. The OTHER GPS does NOT calculate speed, so RouteConverter does it and I can rely on its values...

what is the name of that software?

The software from MobileAction that comes with the I-gotU GT-120 called "@trip PC" and which also syncs photos to the GPS track record, and opens the route using Google Maps and satellites images.

So is there a switch where I can say, treat this GPX as if it was right and uses m/s and threat this other GPX as if it is wrong and uses km/h?

No, but I could

• add a switch
  
• introduce a workaround specifically for that software
  

Of I course I like the second option more - all I need is some files from that software and hopefully a rather secure way to detect files written by it.

I've added the raw material in the form of the bin and another file, as well as the exported CSV and GPX files for yesterday's driving. There are TWO separate trips in the one GPX and the one CSV file, but they are separated in the other two files. You can look to your heart's contentment. I've also written to Mobile Action in Taiwan with the statement that GPX 1.0 requires they save in m/s but who knows if that will do any good <grin>...

The GPX file starts with the following, and you can identify their software from the gpx creator line... where they specifically name themselves.
