Would that gent and you be willing to test for me, if it works and whether I've catched all places where lengths are displayed? My plan then would be to stay with metric values internally, offer an option to switch to miles and do the conversion on the view level.
Christian, I am willing... I do not know about him, but I told him to write to you so you may get a request from him separately. However I think he is really trying to SAVE the resulting file [KLM] with miles and not metric. I am guessing there, however.
[PS, the wording should be "whether I've caught all places where lengths are displayed", if you check in an English dictionary.] Caught and catch are interrelated...
