The problem of the Arabic language in the RouteConverter
#27
Quote:Great! I have three requests:

1. Please remove all lines defining a mnemonic

file-menu-mnemonic=F
new-file-action-mnemonic=N

2. Please remove all lines defining a keystroke

new-file-action-keystroke=ctrl N
open-action-keystroke=ctrl O

3. Please remove all lines defining an icon

paste-action-icon=slash/navigation/converter/gui/paste-action.png
help-topics-action-icon=slash/navigation/converter/gui/help-topics-action.png

Reason: if such a line is not in the Arabic version, the lookup falls back to the English version

All of these requests do not cause any problems for the Arabic language ... All programs Arab shortcuts are used in the English language ... There's no problem in the English language shortcuts ... Because the programming for us Arabs, we use abbreviations English .. Right now ready version of the Arabic language

Keyboards that we have contains characters english... When you convert only one character speaking to our problem ... Preferable to make some of the letters in English .. In order to be an Arab version of the wonderful non-problems

Better to make the program in Arabic .. And abbreviations in English

See the attachments to a program that works in Arabic ( There are no problems)

Quote:Unfortunately, RouteConverter currently has just one field, the comment, for all the structured data that you need: name, street, city
I have a concrete idea how I could extend RouteConverter but a growing list of problems to solve before implementing more features. Same as here so please be patient

I did not understand much .. I wish to do so in the future
