How to show more than one track

What I would like to do...

I open first track (1), next I open second one (2). I compare both of them and correcting for example only track (2). Track (1) is used only like a layer to compare.

the "best" way to achieve this currently is to load track 1 and then import track 2 into the same position list. Then compare them, fix track 1 and remove the positions of track 2 afterwards again.
