Web install won't load under Windows 7, 64 bit

I've used routeconverter a few times with success but today it won't load. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit and did the web install method. When I attempted to open a gpx file today I got a message indicating that a new version was downloading but it won't open any files.

You mean you're still using the 2.5 version although you're using Java Webstart?

Also, I tried to download the file for local install but it tried to download Adobe Photoshop Elements 8. Link misdirection?

Malware? A virus? I don't own Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and I've checked the Windows downloads and they're fine.
