issue for Columbus v990 support
#1
Does v2.9 support the CSV file generated by Columbus v990? I saw it support Columbus v900, but not sure if also support v990.

Error happened when I open a v990 CSV file, a diologue window raised, it said that xxx file format was not detected. But sometimes, I can open another shortter v990 CSV file.

I don't know what's the problem. Does anyone know? Please help, thanks.

Actually, I extended RouteConverter a while ago to read V990 files which was reported in the forum.

Please send me some example V990 files that are not extended and I'll have a look at them. Send either to the mail mentioned in the FAQ or upload them in a ZIP to this thread.

Thanks a lot. Attached the original v990 file that I open failed. It seems the link you mentioned was discussed by French, it's too diffcult for me to read.SadSad

Actually, the file contains some position where the satellites could not be fixed, like

297 ,G,130630,032828,23.644383N,113.650126E,14 ,0 ,0 ,

Currently, RouteConverter is very strict about these missing fixes. You can relax it by setting the Windows registry option

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\slash\navigation\simple]
"ignore/Invalid/Fix"="false"

Or try the latest prelease which I've just uploaded
