Error Converting gpx to gdb

When I try to convert a gpx file to a gdb file I get an error. I'm running the 64-bit version 2.4 for Mac. Here is the error I get.

Could not convert /var/folders/53/hhjgp6rs72.../T/babelsource8499...gpx to /var/folders/53/hhjgp6rs72.../T/babeltarget8499...gdb

I abbreviated some of the error where you see the ... A file is output but it's zero K.

Any suggestions? Do you need more information from me?

It seems that the gpsbabel embedded in RouteConverter fails to work. Could you try to download gpsbabel and convert a gpx file to gdb on the console (not the UI) - copying the output here into the forum?
