bug in Mapsource export
#1
One bug I noticed in 1.31 is that export to Mapsource 6.x has bugs. I have posted two files, a gpx and a gdb file. They should give the same route but they don't. the gpx file is the correct one. The gdb files has double waypoints and has re-ordered the order of waypoints so the route doesn't make sense any more.

I'm sorry, I cannot do anything there: the gdb file is read and written by gpsbabel. I guess they know, what they're doing Wink

Btw, the only difference I've noticed is an extra waypoint list inside the gdb file, or?

If you let routeconverter make a route of the gdb file you'll see that it's all messed up. So either the gdb file is incorrect or the routeconverter interpretation is incorrect.

As it stands, the gdb format is unusable for me.

I didn't notice that with the example files you sent to me. Just a waypoint list was added. What do you see?

I found the problem. In the position list window I did not select the "route" variant. I had the waypoint version of the route and then in the "type' window I selected "route". then the route is all messed up. Sorry for the confusion.
