Hi I found Route converter as I was looking for an alternative to the QTravel software that came with my Q1000p, as it advertises that it will handle the exported csv files.

Ideally I would like an application that reads (and communicates back) direct with the unit. Alternatively somethink that will read the *.poi files that the supplied application writes. (I think they may be in some flavour of SQL Lite)

Do you have examples for these files? I had a longer discussion with someone that wanted to implement support for some SQL Lite-based file format. But it turned out to be very complicated.
