Dear Tepetl,

hello
Thanks for your answer
This is an example below from another web site (but works the same way that the previous link)
In the example below, when you choose the tool that looks like a pen, you can draw a trace (in red). Every click creates a gps coordinates. Then you can save to create a trace.
There are other tools to delete, move the trace
You can try at this location :
https://www.visugpx.com/editgpx_old/
This function will be very usuful.
PS : thanks for all the works that you have done so far.
Thanks

Currently, it takes a right click with the mouse and a left click on "New" to achieve the same.

It would be quite a lot of effort to add this functionality to the Online and Offline Edition just to save one click.
The Online Edition has lost a lot of trust due to the Java 8 Update 161-172 instabilities and the Google Maps API Key requirements - and the removal of JavaFX in Java 11 will create another barrier for novice users.
Not the point in time to decide for an invest ;-)

Oups
yes but it's much more faster and easier with the other solution most of all when you are creating a very long trace. Just try it to understand.

RoureConverter solution:
Keep the [Ctrl] button on the keyboard pressed and set point by point on the map with left mouse button.
Presuming that 'Type' is set to either 'Track' or 'Route', points will be either connected per air or via street.
