No, the routing engines GraphHopper 0.13 and BRouter 1.6.1 which I'm using don't offer an API for it.
There Map Matching API for GraphHopper but it's only available as a chargeable service.

Convert to Track is the most simple option. Insert intermediate positions offers a bit more functionality depending on the routing engine. You need to try.
