I am attempting to open a GPX file and save it as an fpl file. In the newest version, when I open the GPX file it does not display the descriptions and lat/lon information properly as it does in older versions of RouteConverter. I am attaching screenshots of new and older version interface.
I would be happy to just use an older version for this conversion but I am receiving a "write fpl is not available" error. I have paid so I don't believe that I am subject to a limited number of conversions but please tell me if I am wrong.

Thanks Christian
I tried with the pre-release but unfortunately it is loading the same.
Is there a way that I can get write fpl access for older versions such as 2.22 from 2017 which still loads the gpx properly but will not write to fpl?
I am using Windows 11 with Java 8 update 321
I have no idea why my files will load properly for you but not me. This may be unrelated but starting RouteConverter does trigger my computer to throw a warning about stopping an unknown app that may be harmful and I have to choose run anyway to get the program to start.

I don't know and I won't spend time on stone age releases, but rather find and fix the current problems.

Me either. It could be a Java 8/11/14, a XML Parser/Library or a GPSBabel problem, or something else.
Remove %USERPROFILE%\.routeconverter\thirdparty to force a download of GPSBabel
What's the result of each step?

That's because your AV solution hasn't seen the binary before and other users, too. So it has to learn the binary is used often. Pretty common since I don't want to buy expensive (500 EUR/year) EV certificates.
Update on the trouble shooting steps requested by Christian
1.) I downloaded the bundle - no change - still not loading gpx properly. Not mentioned before but every time I get the following java error as RouteConverter loads
2.) Deleted the third party folder - Success!
At least it appears so for now. The gpx loads properly and appears to write an fpl file!
I need to test the resulting file on the Garmin G1000 which will take some time but very promising.
Still get the Java error as RouteConverter loads but not critical to me as long as this conversion works.
Many thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot! This is worth further donations from me.
I will report back the results of loading into the aircraft Garmin.

That is solved with the latest 2.31.2 or the latest prerelease.

Then something with GPSBabel went wrong on your machine. Strange.

Since FPL is pure Java, I wouldn't expect any problems related to GPSBabel.
