2.3.1 release GCopyright error - pls help
#1
Hi,
Pls help. I downloaded Win32 release 2.3.1. It worked fine until recent. Then it stopped showing the map, with the error message in place of map:
**************************
Sorry, could not initialize Google Maps
Error name: TypeError
Error message:`GCopyright` is undefined

1. isLoaded():true
2. GBrowserIsCompatible():true
3. isCompatible():true
***************************

Platform: Win Xp Sp2, 32 bit.
No problem to open G.Maps in IExplorer or through other applications.
Another comp connected to the same internet connection (but with win7) opens R.Converter fine.
Java installed and re-installed.
Can anybody help?
With respect to the community,
Stan

Hi Stan,

GCopyright is an object of the Google Maps API which should be available if the API is initialized correctly:

Code:
1. isLoaded():true
2. GBrowserIsCompatible():true
3. isCompatible():true

In short: this should never happen. Something really went wrong there.

Please try to delete the routeconverter*.html somewhere below c:\users\ <username> \AppData\Local\Temp\routeconverter and clean the caches of your Internet Explorer. Does that help?
